Faith Naked models have the very soul of the guitar exposed for all to hear and experience. Each instrument is beautiful in its simplicity and unadorned with cosmetic additions, and as such, it is more accessible to players of all levels.
The Naked Saturn 12 Electro is made with an Engelmann Spruce top, harmoniously paired with Indonesian Mahogany back and sides, carefully crafted using solid wood and adorned with a gentle satin sheen. A notable benefit of this satin finish is its capacity to liberate the solid tonewood, enabling it to resonate and move without the constraint of lacquer layers. In embracing its 'Naked' essence, this guitar lays bare its soul, inviting the woods to unveil their authentic colours and delicately intricate grain patterns—a celebration of nature's artistic brilliance.
The fusion of Spruce and Mahogany has long been an acoustic guitar tradition, and for good reason too. The brighter tone of the Spruce is tamed a little by the more mellow, softwood tones of the mahogany, resulting in a balanced sound across the spectrum, helped even more so by the mid-range focussed character of the Saturn Dreadnought body contours. As with all Naked models, the fingerboard, bridge and bridge pins are all made from figured, solid Ebony. Overall, you can look forward to a vibrant, thrilling, and continuously dynamic tone, with the Naked body proudly displaying the marks of every musical adventure.
