Born of a Highland winter, Monarch o’ the Glen captures the Scottish Highlands at a standstill — when snow silences the land and the hills hold their breath.

The stag stands watchful and unyielding — stitched in deep grey tones against soft grey cloth — echoing the strength and stillness of the Scottish Highlands. His form is framed by Johnstons of Elgin cashmere and wool panels, chosen for their exceptional softness, warmth, and heritage provenance.

The palette is drawn directly from the landscape: frozen stone, winter grasses, shadowed rock, and peat-dark earth. Subtle textures and considered contrasts give the piece its quiet authority — refined, grounded, unmistakably Scottish.

Finished with a luxury 16” duck feather inner, this cushion is designed not as décor, but as a focal point — a piece that anchors a room and invites pause.
