Our shops bring in over £500,000 each year in support of the care we provide at Overgate Hospice. Please support us by visiting one or more of our shops in Elland, Halifax, Hipperholme, Illingworth, Ovenden, King Cross, Todmorden, Hebden Bridge, Brighouse and West Vale.

Today is Gift Aid Awareness Day, and we’re encouraging everyone who is eligible to Gift Aid their donations to make sure they tick the box and complete the Gift Aid declaration when donating to our shops.

If you’re a UK taxpayer, Gift Aid means we can claim an extra 25p for every £1 you donate, at no extra cost to you.

Last year, Gift Aid generated an incredible £192,758 for Overgate Hospice – that’s 36% of all donations made to our shops!

So, whether you’re donating a bag of clothes, a box of books or something you’ve had tucked away at home, please tick the box and make your donation go even further.

This time next month, our volunteers will be strutting their stuff down the catwalk and showcasing the best of pre-loved fashion from our charity shops across Calderdale.

Our Spring/Summer Fashion Show is back on Thursday 26th March at The Venue, Barkisland!

See pre-loved fashion from our charity shops strut down the catwalk, then shop the looks on the night.

Our North Halifax Hub now runs as follows:

🕙 10am–12pm – OSCA Foundation Community Sports Hub
🕝 1:30pm–3:30pm – Mixenden Activity Centre

The Overgate Hubs are open to anyone with a progressive, life-limiting illness and their carers, and provide support and education, and most importantly, the chance to socialise with others in similar situations.
