I've been back home a week in freezing temperatures and miss the winter sun holiday I went on to relax. Starting off the new year with some winter sun in Cape Verde!
I enjoyed some of my time off sunbathing, reading and of course crocheting. I decided to learn to mosaic crochet and am pleased to say I love the effect of it and so excited to show you the finished object, hopefully soon 😆

With Remembrance Day on Sunday to remember the lives of those who lost theirs in service of our country, I was honoured to be asked to commission a poppy wreath. Each poppy commemorates a crew member who sadly lost their life after a WWII plane crash. Their initials and the colours of their national flags represent and remember them each individually........Lest We Forget
