Scabious season has arrived. π
It's one of those flowers I wait for every year. The bees seem to know exactly when it's ready too.
This week the field is filling with soft pink, lavender blue and rich purple scabious, while the giant creamy-yellow scabious is beginning to tower above everything else. They add movement, texture and that relaxed cottage garden feel I love.
The flower field changes almost daily at this time of year, especially after the recent heatwave. One week it's poppies and foxgloves, the next it's scabious taking centre stage.
It's a lovely reminder that no two weeks are ever quite the same.
