My aim is to help anyone interested to start their journey with this incredible material!

You know, nice shower, clean clothes….. feeling good. Suddenly a weird sensation in my right foot (with clean socks), thinking I’ll just itch that strange spot- then it moves…. Sock off, inside out THE biggest spider I ever saw hurtles out. I don’t mind spiders but not in my socks…..🤣

So what to do on a rainy day? Make reindeer and check your instructions are helpful for students!! I think they are 🤞

Lovely day at Fenland Orchards Project - we had the big reveal for some participants! Beautiful work from everyone. We also realised it’s the first time we’ve felt cold since June 🤣

Hi to everyone who attends the Fenland Orchards Project rush weaving sessions.
Our October event is next Thursday (8th).

Please remember to give your baskets a 15-20 second shower (cool) and then wrap in an old DAMP towel etc on Wednesday.

This will allow the rush to mellow overnight ready to continue on Thursday. Looking forward to seeing you all! 😊

Just a reminder that the rush weaving club at Fenland Orchards Project is NEXT THURSDAY 10th September (Alana not Wednesday!!!). We will be starting a rush shallow basket. I will bring wooden formers but if you wanted a deeper basket please feel free to bring your own- any plastic/metal round container with straight sides would be fine. (Sweet tins or containers are good). Looking forward to seeing you all 😊
