The market has been at the heart of Ely community life for over 800 years. We have three main markets a week on Thursdays, Saturday and Sunday - plus a Farmers’ Market twice a month. Everyone is welcome and thousands of people visit our stalls every week. PAGE INFORMATION:

Firstly, our brilliant traders are out in force with everything you need and more. Fresh produce, amazing stalls and great food all under the sunshine! 🛍️

Secondly, the incredibly talented Laura Pearson-Clark is here today with her wonderful Secret Gardens workshop! 🌿🎨 It's FREE, it's suitable for ages 5 and above and it is bursting with arts and crafts creativity. The perfect Thursday treat for little ones and big ones alike!

Wondering what to do with the kids this half term? Head down to Ely Markets tomorrow for a free family-friendly arts and crafts session with local artist and Ely Markets community partner, Laura Pearson-Clark of Art in the Burrow! 🌿🎨🧡

This event is part of the nationwide Big Draw Festival 2026, and this theme is one that's sure to spark imaginations: SECRET GARDENS 🌸

From 10am to 2pm on Thursday 28 May, families can drop in anytime and get creative with a range of garden-inspired craft activities. Here's what's in store:

- Secret garden or favourite park dioramas 🌱
- UK wildlife characters to live in your diorama - hedgehogs, sparrows, earthworms & more! 🦔
- Garden-inspired poems, scripts or titles
- Ink stamps & washi tape decorating 🎨
- Observational sketching corner 🖊️

Free, drop-in, no need to book. Suitable for ages 5 and over... and grown-ups are encouraged to get creative too!

The market is open, the vibes are immaculate and there is so much to see and discover today. Brilliant stalls, amazing finds and incredible food, all under the most glorious blue sky. What a day to be in Ely! 🌟

It's a scorcher and the market is absolutely buzzing! ☀️🛍️

Today our Saturday Craft, Food & Vintage Market joins forces with the Farmers' Market for one incredible Saturday with handmade treasures, stunning vintage finds, fresh farm produce and the most amazing street food to keep you fuelled all day.🌱🧀🍔

It is seriously HOT today so please remember to slap on the sunscreen, pop on a hat and drink plenty of water! 💒💧 And if you're bringing your four-legged friends along, please keep a close eye on them in the heat and make sure they've got plenty of water too 🐾❤️
