We specialise in selling Davis weather monitoring equipment, and in giving advice on setting up and running PC linked and on-line automatic weather stations. With an increasing range of options open to customers who want to relay data from their weather station to a PC, and a wide range of processing op

tions, we are increasingly asked to provide solutions for such diverse applications as a weather station for Lords cricket ground and a fruit farmer wanting to monitor conditions at a variety of locations on his land. We have also supplied countless systems to private individuals, who, as weather enthusiasts, want to monitor, archive and publish weather records of their own. As a small independent company, we pride ourselves on our friendly, personal advice. Buying a weather station can involve very detailed discussions on the best ways to set up and run it - we are always happy to advise via email or phone, so that you can be sure that what you are buying will meet your needs. We supply principally within the UK, although can also supply within the European Union, subject to agreement on shipping charges and payment details. We do not normally take orders outside of Europe, except in special circumstances. Based in Ely in the Cambridgeshire Fens, we also run our own weather reporting website, www.elyweather.co.uk/wdl, and collate one of the most comprehensive clickable maps of privately run weather stations in the UK.

Following the success of our recent Prodata Weather Systems (Davis Instruments) installation at Leeds United F.C., we returned to Elland Road to further expand the club’s environmental monitoring network with an additional advanced sensor node installation.
The latest deployment included:
1 fully equipped Weather Station with integrated Cellular Gateway
5 remote sensor nodes strategically positioned across the stadium
3 fully populated sensor nodes installed at the training ground to complement the existing Weather Station and monitoring node already in place
Together, the system delivers real-time insight into critical agronomic and climatic conditions, monitoring:
PAR (Photosynthetically Active Radiation)
Temperature & Humidity
Evapotranspiration (ET)
Rainfall & Irrigation
Wind Speed & Direction
Solar Radiation & UV
Soil Moisture, Temperature & EC
…and more.
Powered by the advanced reporting capabilities of Prodata Reports — including SMS/SMD tracking, Growth Potential analysis, Growing Degree Days, and our three integrated disease models — the club now benefits from deeper, data-driven insight to support elite pitch performance and proactive decision-making.

This week we were at Verulam Golf Club installing a full Davis Instruments setup to deliver real-time agronomic, climatic and disease prediction data for the course team.

• 6820 GroWeather Station
• 6345 Soil Temperature & Leaf Wetness Station

📊 The system now feeds directly into ProData reports, giving the team live insights into course conditions and advanced disease prediction for Anthracnose, Dollar Spot and Microdochium — helping support smarter, data-driven turf management.
