Since we returned from our break, we have been busier than ever with repairs and alterations. This means Amie is spending less time in the shop to try and keep up! But, Trevor is there and Amie is always in on Mondays and Saturdays for fittings. If you want to check if she's available please feel free to call and check. Alterations etc, that don't require a fitting can of course be left at any time...

Amie and Trev are back to the shop today and normal opening hours of 9.30am to 5pm. Big Big thanks to Sue for keeping Little Sew n' Sews open for us and you while we were away on what seemed like another planet. We had an incredible time and then - reality returned! See you all soon!!! Trevor

We will be unable to undertake alterations/repairs from 28/06 to 14/07. Operating hours will be 10am - 4pm.

Due to the workload Amie will not be in the shop until Friday and Saturday for fittings. You can still drop alterations etc as normal. Please make sure you have all the measurements etc if you are just dropping items off. Thank you... Trevor

A little light hearted but serious request, if you will indulge me?

This weekend I was so incensed by the the ridiculous British entry for Eurovision, unsurprisingly getting only one vote, that I wrote my own song which I would have gladly submitted - given the opportunity.

Please check it out, it will only take a few minutes of your time.

I'd just like to know if you think it would have acheieved more than one piddly vote! A little light hearted but serious request, if you will indulge me?

I just wanted to say a big thank you to the people of Epping and our further flung customers who really are a wonderful bunch of people, most of whom have become more like friends than just "customers", who loyaly support our shop and together share a great deal of laughter, which is my favourite part.

On Satuday alone Amie and I were treated with lunch snacks, I was given a "Colin the Caterpillar!" lol, then Amie was presented with a lovely bunch of flowers and after that we were treated with ice creams... I mean, that doesn't happen everywhere and we are fully aware how lucky we are. Thank you all so much for being lovely to us both and especially to Amie, that makes me very happy indeed!

We did get one snipey comment in our on line ratings, even though we did our very best to do a great job on a minor repair, I guess you just can't please everyone when expected to do the impossible.

But all in all, we love our relationship with Epping and couldn't wish for a better place to be amongst such lovely, generous and kind hearted people.
