Another great drop of fish this week all over 6lbs with a few much bigger , video next week. Stirred up the older ones for sure so going to be a great weekend for those out! Another stocking next week of others…fishing been great and varied from intermediate lines to floating buzzers one day snakes next ..

Birds all hatching this week with moorhens on Stalking Pools , coots on 3 springs ,grey lags and canadian geese on both. This the first year here the greylags have made a nest/ successful hatch . The grebes have found each other and now a pair on trenches as first 2 weeks they were lone birds on each lake…Good to see so much wildlife starting fresh after the bleak winter ..

Trenches limits for all this week plus a few bonus browns again. Chris and Dave from Northamptonshire on first visit heee in photo had their limits with 4 over 5lbs with best 6.75lb - a good average stamp plus 2 resident browns 5lb safely released.
Still very up and down weather but roving tactics and different depths /retrieves finding fish on all 3 lakes but black definitely the colour this week. End of day if sunny more rising fish if that wind dies down . Birds hatching and first swallows this week. Looking warmer soon!

Already known for a wide range of trout species and some monster brown trout we now offer something a bit different for summer on some of the lakes .

3 springs already has made a name for specimen Rudd the last few years with residents waiting to be caught in excess of 4lbs lost at the net also seen..the abundance of 2lbers is a nice problem to have! Also crucians in there to nearly 2lbs now….

With the trenches opening up this summer for more of the Rudd plus perch and specimen tench. Bookings being taken for both.

With this cool weather the trout fishing has been varied but very good with hard fighting active fish and limits mainly for most black nymphs and green damsels best with buzzers on the right day.

Beginners luck with resident browns…last 24hours browns have stirred very well with 10 recorded in a week ! All super resident fish and all 3 shown here were first browns for each captor and 1 a first trout ever, unfortunately 1 was knocked on head …. Plenty of limits on trenches and fish were tricky on 3 springs today but feeding on buzzers just beneath the surface and on the surface but picky! Easier on trenches and stalking pool for some reason. Hope to see you soon if fancy some of above.

Trenches received a spring restock to liven the others up , 5 browns recorded last week also, buzzers best on sunny days otherwise Montana and black damsels been good .All around the colors are great and greenery in hedge , lots of flylife on nicer days and everywhere overflowing!

Was good to see 3 generations fishing together over Easter weekend,Ryan with son & father , photo of his son and grandad .Took a couple of nice fish on Trenches and released a few elsewhere …well done tgem good parenting and had a great day out! Also over the weekend a couple of Trenches resident brownies recorded a -2lber and a double figure one both falling to black/green nymphs plus yesterday a long stalking pool tiger showed in a mixed bag😄

Some good fishing been had by those out , limits for all a few sparctics and browns also showing , really fantastic buzzer sport and hatches on the right day. I just not been about with a camera 😂got all crossed for good holiday weather!

What a difference a week makes after the snow rain and very mild , buzzers midweek as well but a good trusty pink snake for most bigger fish , fish are much higher in water lately , some new arrivals to fill the summer fishing spots😄much bigger ones also coming💥

Another real mixed week a restock in 3 springs field of bows and a few more browns mixed week of nymphs , blobs , bloodworms and snakes day depending..
