We have the last firing on at the moment, for our Empty Bowls event at Woking on 23rd October. Less than a week to go! Tutors, our lovely Technician and Learners at the SAL Guildford have dedicated the first half of the term to make bowls especially for the cause. We received some very pretty bowls from SAL's Esher centre too and hopefully will get some more from the other centres. Awaiting some pots for the Silent auction from some very talented ceramic artists across the UK, who have very generously agreed to donate a piece of their work. The whole event is run by volunteers and donations..be it the bowls, the food, the set up and venue, the management and the music! In gratitude to each and every participant who has contributed and will be attending and helping us with our cause. All the proceeds will go to York Road Project at Woking.
