Esher Picture Framing is a bespoke service with a workshop on site, all framing happens here! If you love it then the idea is that I can frame it for you. So whether its a certificate, a piece of fine art, your childs first scribbles, your own first scribbles, a magazine, a medal, baby shoes, scarves, canvas stretching and framing. Sometimes its just a piece of broken glazing that needs replacing

or a new mount board, it doesn't always have to be a whole new frame, its great to reuse and refresh as well and I love doing that. If I don't know how to frame it I will tell you - but Ive framed most things by now. Everything is done so very carefully , I am a conservation framer which means that the idea is that everything I do framing wise is reversible, you won't find me using any nasty glues that cannot be unstuck, I will sew your football shirt in place in the frame rather than use tapes and adhesives which would harm your shirt. Not all picture framers are conservation framers and true it does cost more to "do no harm" and that is why there are also other budgets catered for as not everything needs to be framed forever. However if you do want something preserved for future generations and presented beautifully - I can certainly do that. FRIDAY FANTABULOUSNESS ❤️❤️❤️. A definite personal favourite too. A white feather can mean many things , angels are watching over you, a message from a departed loved one, it symbolises protection and love too. Sometimes it simply means your cat has has done a very very bad thing to a tiny defenceless bird in the garden -however I ignore that one. So this white feather goes out to two special friends going through one of life’s hardest challenges. Enough said.

Double sided with best glass UV protective/anti reflective both sides. Delicious raised needlework -I was blown away by its detail, it took 210 hours to sew.

Have to be honest I found it a bit sweaty handling this, knowing how many hours had gone into it’s making … wore my white gloves. Very happy to have been trusted. Thank you.

I’m a little bit pleased with myself that this weeks FRIDAY FANTABULOUSNESS post actually has the word Friday in the art. Artist is and the piece is “Getting through the week”. for the beaten silver moulding ✅. I’m aware that not all Fridays feel fab or any other day for that matter, a good friend going thru some harsh times said to me she was celebrating the little wins and she’s right, if we find enough little wins … they have a snowball effect. ❤️❤️.

My favourite part of framing is reusing, repurposing and upcycling old frames. Couldn’t find the right word there- so used a few. This was a great one ..it gave me super sweaty hands as it was so old and wafer thin ( not quite) and very fragile. It’s an original illustration from way way back , sorry no date and protected with the finest uv art glass .
But it’s beautiful and old and out in the world 🌎 once more! May your Easter be fragrant too 😊❤️❤️.
