Had a lovely time on Thursday eve Spring Fayre in collaboration with held in McCoys Arcade on Fore Street ❤️

Met some lovely new customers who bought some excellent jackets and got to spread the word about booking a personal shopping appointment with me to the Fore Street community 🛍🛍

Not my usual post but I wanted to share that today is my 1st sober bday 🎂🎁🎈🎉🥳

I used to be a daily drinker and when things got stressful I sought comfort in wine, cocktails, and pints, and it was killing my productivity, positivity, and confidence in myself.

So last year I accepted that I'm one of those all or nothing people and I joined a supportive and accepting programme and I decided to never drink again ❤️

In just this year sobriety has given me the best year of my life so far and to name just a few adventures I've gone on just because of changing 1 thing I:

☀️Left my office job and went full time on my business
☀️Opened a shop which I love
☀️Healed and made time for a relationship and feel secure, calm and happy in it
☀️Returned to things I havent done for years including ballet classes, playing tennis, made time for all those crafts I neglected
☀️Made the most unexpected and incredible group of friends from joining a supportive community (this weekend I'm going for a celebratory dinner with 20 new local friends!)
☀️Gone on several holidays
☀️Went on a hen weekend and to weddings sober and had the best time
☀️Started saying no to things I honestly didn't want to do
☀️Got great sleep
☀️Got so much time back and a clearer less anxious head and body

The list goes on but for anyone that is curious about sobriety I couldn't recommend it more. I've never once regretted not drinking the night before.

Here's to many more sober years to come ❤️❤️❤️

This giant Fortnum & Mason hamper basket my partner thrifted for me is just perfect as a rummage basket for vintage fabrics and blankets

This beauty made its debut at the Frome Independent on Sunday and treasures were picked out by some lovely customers ☀️🌷🐰🐣
