We were lucky enough to have the Genesis Croix de Fer 60 e-gravel bike in stock for our customers to test ride last month.
This is the first time Genesis (arguably the inventors of capable steel gravel bikes) have added an electric assistance model and it’s perfect for our Devon hills, with the lightweight Mahle XS system acting as an extra gear when you need some back-up.

Here is a review from one of our customers (a keen gravel rider herself):

“I had wanted to try out a gravel e-bike for a while, especially living a bit further out of Exeter with the hills. I rode it from the city up to Haldon Forest and a took it for a spin around the gravel tracks. Having the battery help when I needed it meant I had more energy to go further for longer in the forest before heading home. I would definitely consider it as a commuter and general bike to replace car journeys too, so I’m so grateful to Saddles & Paddles for letting me try it!”

Heads up folks! It’s a huge day for Topsham this Sunday as it’s the annual Topsham’s Longest Table community event, so if you’re visiting or passing through on bikes, please be mindful that you’ll need to walk your bikes through sections of the town or cycle on the main roads.

Topsham's famous Longest Table returns this weekend 🍽️❤️ Hundreds of tables will fill the streets as the community comes together for one of Devon's biggest street feasts.
