Hello everyone!

You may have noticed we’ve been a little quieter on social media lately. Unfortunately, this is due to the recent increase in break-ins and robberies targeting local game stores over the past month. Because of this, we’ve decided to scale back how much stock we advertise online and have taken additional precautions, such as moving certain items off-site overnight.

What does this mean for our customers?

You might notice that the store appears to have less stock on display for the time being, but rest assured—that isn’t the case! If you’re looking for a specific item, especially higher-value products, just send us a message on social media and we’ll happily arrange to have it brought into the store from secure storage.

We’re still working incredibly hard to build UCG into the gaming centre and community hub that the South West deserves. Our team is busy behind the scenes planning some exciting things for the near future!

We’re also still buying collections, singles, and sealed products.

And yes — we’re still doing our best to sell as much product at RRP as possible!

🏆Prizes:🏆
🥇1st Place: 40% of the prize pool including their qualification for the cEDH European Championship 2027 in Birmingham.
🥈2nd-4th Place: 20% of the prize pool.
🏅At player cap (32 players), there will be prizing for 5th-10th, tba.
❗️Rules:❗️
❗️Playtest cards are permitted (including printed, mpc, etc.), must be in colour, must have official artwork (with the exception of the UK Championship playtest cards), if your deck contains printed playtest cards then you must double sleeve your deck.
❗️Counterfeits are not permitted, if players are found to be using counterfeits they will be disqualified.
❗️75mins + 15mins rounds, round ends at the active player's clean up.
❗️4 rounds of swiss, cut to top 10, due to timing restrictions top 10 and top 4 will have to be limited to 75mins + 15mins overtime too.
❗️Pods of three, no byes.
❗️7 points for wins, 1 point for draws, and 0 points for loses.
❗️Decklists are required at registration, they can be submitted using moxfield. Players who don't submit a decklist will either be unable to play or given a game loss for round 1.
❗️We'll be using the European MTR and IPG rules amendments (https://juizes-mtg-portugal.github.io/) for this event.
