With the season getting ever closer we are getting many enquiries for Steel Proofed Guns !!

You do not need a gun proofed for steel to use steel shot cartridges provided it was Nitro proofed after 1954 and has no more than !/2 choke in the barrel, we can advise you on something suitable for your needs like the example from Eley Hawk below .

We will be stocking the range from Eley and other cartridges from Hull Cartridge & Gamebore & will offer a free proof & choke check on your gun if you are unsure when buying cartridges from us.

NB :- For older and Damascus barrelled guns we will be stocking Bismuth
