I’ve been messing around with book cover ideas in ChatGpt. It’s been fun. Some have turned out alright and some are just plain stupid. There are loads so I’ll just post a hand full. Has anyone used AI for a book cover? I think it’s a good tool to get an idea of what you want then possibly hire an artist but I’m also open to using it if I can get a perfect result, which is proving very difficult 😂

I’m really going to miss this book. I can read it again ‘Obviously’ but it would be a different experience. I personally enjoyed listening to this more than I did The Shining. Don’t shoot me. I enjoyed the character study of Dan all these years later and the many years the books journey takes you on. His past, the sins of his father or the ghosty people of the overlook was amazing to read. Abra and Rose the hat are brilliant new characters into the world of The Shining.

I’d give this book a 9 out of 10. The third act did let the book down as I wish there was more dialogue between two of the characters at the end and the final battle was a bit underwhelming. All in all a fantastic book.

What a brilliant audiobook. Would absolutely recommend this. Just as good if not better than the film.
