All done and dusted at the Devon County show floral art competition! Super hot in the marquee and the flowers behaved superbly over the last four days!!

Very happy to have received a first for my design for ‘Ariel View’. I made circles from slicing up thin pieces of corrugated cardboard and rolling them into circles. A very fiddly job! The flowers were then fed through the cardboard and were sitting in water underneath.

I got a third for my alternative tree design for ‘Windswept’. Have to say when I was making this it made me laugh and smile! It’s a little bit different which I love.

Lots of fabulous designs by everyone and well done to the winners, organisers and everyone who took part.

Oh so pretty for this weekend’s wedding! The perfume from the peonies was just gorgeous!

What a fabulous day it’s been! Visiting for the first time a wedding venue called The Lost Music Hall at Great Ambrook near Ipplepen.

Met one of my couples there to finalise the flowers for their summer wedding.

What a venue and what a setting!! A fabulous drive in the sunshine. I might have gone the long way round by mistake to get there!! But it was absolutely worth it.

A very pretty drive from the entrance on the lane and then the building appears before you. Just gorgeous.

Now I can’t wait for the wedding itself!!

Very excited to see one of my competition pieces in the Flower Arranger magazine!!

Brilliant to see such a fab photo of the design, my photos did not come out like that!!

It’s from last September at the Nafas National Show at Gloucester cathedral.

What an experience that was, good fun and all of the hard work was definitely worth it.
