ARE YOU INTERESTED IN SUPORTING OTHERS?
If so, you might like to read on….
You may know that the Wax Chandlers' are very proud to support Bees Abroad a registered UK charity that supports families in East Africa towards financial independence. Each year we host at our hall an evening with them (a bit like av’show and tell’ so they can share their work and progress.
Well, as Master, I am delighted to invite you to what promises to be an uplifting and purposeful evening at our Hall on Wednesday 11 March — the Bees Abroad fundraising event adjacent to and coincident with International Women’s Day.
This is not simply another charitable gathering. It is an opportunity for us to come together in fellowship to make a tangible, immediate difference. This one evening will showcase three carefully chosen projects that support sustainable beekeeping communities in Africa. Each project has a clear goal, a defined plan, and a direct impact on families. Your presence and your pledge on the night will determine what becomes possible. (it wont cost you the earth but it will enhance anothers world)
The format is designed to be engaging and energetic: A welcome drinks reception; conversation; A finger buffet; followed by concise project presentations together with a live pledging round. It is a rare chance to see philanthropy in action — collaborative, transparent, and rooted in the values of stewardship and crafting.
I strongly encourage you to attend, bring guests, and be part of the collective momentum.
Together we can support projects that empower communities, protect livelihoods, and promote the craft of beekeeping for future generations.
Places are limited, and I hope many of you will join me in filling the Hall with the energy and goodwill that define Fellowship.
I very much look forward to welcoming you on the evening.
