If you’ve been waiting for a sign to start a new creative hobby this autumn, this is it. Spaces are extremely limited and these last few spots usually go fast:

7-Week Courses

It’s been a little while...

The studio has been wonderfully busy, but I’ve also been making the most of a slower summer. I’ve been teaching reduced hours so I can enjoy a little more of the glorious Devon sunshine, spend time outdoors and soak up everything that makes this corner of the world so special.

With a little more breathing room, I thought it was the perfect time to properly introduce myself again and share a little more about the heart behind Clod Pots.

If you’re new here, welcome! My name’s Chloe, and I’m the founder, teacher and potter behind the studio.

This carousel is a little open letter from me to you. It’s about how Clod Pots came to be, why I teach the way I do, and what I hope every single person feels when they walk through the studio door.

Pottery has always been about so much more than making mugs and bowls. For me, it’s about slowing down, getting your hands muddy, learning something new, meeting lovely people and leaving feeling just a little more confident than when you arrived.

Whether you’ve been here since the beginning, joined a workshop, or have only just discovered Clod Pots, thank you for being here. It genuinely means the world.

I had the pleasure of teaching Oonagh in a Private 1-1 session yesterday at the studio she made 5 beautiful pots and was a natural at the wheel! It was wonderful to see how incredibly proud she was of the gorgeous pots she made. Summer at the studio is a little slower in July and August, whilst I don’t run as many courses I am always able to take private bookings so if you fancy booking in so drop me an email. SEPTEMBER-DECEMBER dates have now been released on the website so do book in asap as these are expected to fill quickly. Hope to see you at the studio soon xo
