We have lots in stock. I regularly use ornamental grasses in my planting designs, they act as a great fine textured contrast to shrubs and perennials, and help a border to look great into the late summer and autumn (when they flower). They look particularly good combined with late flowering perennials such as rudbeckias, echinaceas, helenium (we have some lovely ‘Moerheim Beauty’), sedums, verbena, and late flowering salvias.
Ornamental grasses also provide height and movement to a planting scheme, and can be used as a hedge or for privacy screening.

We have in stock:

Stipa - tenuissima ‘Pony Tails’ & gigantea

Miscanthus - ‘China’, ‘Ferner Osten’, sacchiarflorus (this is 2m tall and would make a great privacy screen, either planted individually or in a row), ‘Rotsilber’ and ‘Gnome’.

Calamagrostis - ‘Karl Foerster’ (makes a great upright accent in a planting scheme and the leaves fill out much earlier in the season than most other grasses), brachytricha (has more luscious foliage than Karl Foerster, and ‘Eldorado’ which yellow and green striped leaves.

We also have (although not on sale), some beautiful Pennisetum x advena ‘Rubrum’ with beautiful red foliage and fluffy plume flowers, and Miscanthus ‘Zebrinus’ with zebra-stripped foliage.
