Wow! I put this in my eBay watch list thinking I'd bid on it if the price was right, well, days ago it went over my budget but I left it there to see the final sale price - and this is it!
I'm very pleased for the seller but Sindy's a bit miffed that she won't be tootling around the countryside any time soon 😂

And so I started my re-root - I chose the Blueberry Pie colour hair from The Doll Hair Emporium in the end.....and 2 hours later I finished!

The glue inside her head needs to dry now, then I'll be giving her some new eyelashes, a hairstyling session then I'll reattach her body. I'm keeping everything crossed she turns out well, I haven't added any new holes, just rerooted the existing ones.

So now it's a waiting game, I've decided to call her Delilah 😁

I recently acquired this TLC Sindy from eBay, as you can see she was in a sorry state ☹️
Anyway, restoration has begun, starting with a good clean, some new to her arms, torso and legs, and her old hair and eyelashes removed ready for re-rooting.
Now, I've never done a re-root before, just watched a lot of YouTube videos, but I'm looking forward to giving it a go. I've purchased a tool and some hair from , I couldn't decide between 'Blueberry pie' or 'Aphrodite' so bought both....
So, watch this space and I'll let you know how I get on! 😁
