Day one at Work Beyond Walls done! 🌿

A brilliant first day at The Boiler Shop in Newcastle, where Workpattern have brought together some of the biggest names in workplace design to create a living, working environment for two days of talks, workshops and conversations around the future of the workplace.

As well as our own space on the mezzanine, we’ve provided planting throughout the event for Senator, Boss Design, Tarkett, BuzziSpace, OB&B and Domus, along with the planting for the presentation space hosting the speakers and panel discussions.

We’re back for day two tomorrow, so if you’re joining us, head upstairs, find us amongst the greenery and come say hello! 👋🌿

A recent workplace project full of clever planting solutions 🌿

Planting around the banquette seating makes the breakout space feel more inviting, mobile planted dividers create pockets of privacy and accommodate flexible layouts, while cabinet-top planting offers a softer boundary between workstations.

Together, the different displays create a workplace that’s more welcoming, more functional and designed to help people perform at their best.

A bold new look for South Street 🌺🌿

Amber has officially opened its doors in St Andrews, the latest restaurant from chef Dean Banks and his third in the town.

Designed by Dean himself, the new space takes inspiration from across the Mediterranean, with warm, natural tones, terracotta details and greenery running throughout.

We were brought in to help carry that character outside too, creating a vibrant floral installation that wraps around the frontage and makes an immediate impression from the street.

A new chapter begins at Paisley Grammar School this week 🌿

The new state-of-the-art Community Campus will welcome up to 1,350 pupils, bringing together modern learning spaces with dedicated facilities for science, STEM, sport, drama and music, as well as becoming the new home of Renfrewshire’s Music School.

It’s been a brilliant project to be part of, and one we’re very proud to add to our growing portfolio of education spaces.

Tomorrow, the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games officially get underway, as the city once again welcomes athletes from across the Commonwealth for 11 days of world-class sport.

The Games have a special place in Benholm's history. We were proud to serve as the official plant supplier in 2014, and we're looking forward to seeing the city shine on the world stage once again.

Create your own kokedama with us 🌿

Join Benholm Group and Parkside UK for an evening of creativity, conversation and hands-on making at Material Source Studio Glasgow.

We'll introduce you to the art of kokedama, a traditional Japanese planting technique where plants are wrapped in moss instead of being placed in a conventional pot, creating beautiful living sculptures that can be displayed on a dish or suspended from string.

You'll be guided through the process step by step, with all materials provided and no previous experience required. Best of all, you'll leave with your own kokedama to take home.

Places are limited, so we recommend booking early to avoid disappointment.
