The first video is now LIVE, giving you a proper look at our plans for the new shop, what we’re hoping to create and some of the ideas we have for bringing the whole magical shopping street to life!

✨Creating magical spaces has been our thing for the past five years✨

We’ve always loved creating immersive places that let you step through the door and, just for a little while, escape the outside world and lose yourself somewhere filled with magic.

Right now, we’re adding the finishing touches to some of the shops along our brand-new magical shopping street - including our sweet shop, The Giggling Gobstopper, a name chosen by YOU, our wonderful Instagram community!

And there’s so much more still to come…

Our renovation YouTube series will be starting very soon, giving you an in-depth, behind-the-scenes look at how we’ve designed, built and handmade this entire magical world from the ground up.

We can’t wait to finally show you how the real magic is made.

Congratulations to Elaine & Team at Falkirk Delivers ✨❤️ another 5 magical years, and many more Enchanted Markets to come!

Businesses across Falkirk have voted overwhelmingly to renew Falkirk Delivers for 2026-2031, securing a historic fifth term for Scotland’s longest-running BID.

With 90.36% voting in favour and 86.66% support by rateable value, the result gives us a strong mandate for the next five years of investment, support and partnership working.

And there’s even more to celebrate…
For the first time, Central Retail Park and surrounding businesses will join the BID, bringing Falkirk’s two main retail zones and the wider business community closer together.

Together, we’ll build on the work already underway to create a safer, cleaner, more attractive and successful destination: increasing footfall, supporting businesses, tackling retail crime and promoting Falkirk as a great place to shop, visit, work and invest.

✨Renovations are continuing… and the magic is taking shape!✨

We honestly cannot wait to finally open the doors and reveal everything we’ve been creating behind the scenes! Our new shop is almost SIX TIMES the size of our current home, and trust us when we say, it’s going to be worth the wait!

Every corner and every little magical detail is being designed and handmade by our incredible team. We’re putting so much love into creating a place that feels completely unique - somewhere you can explore, discover and get completely lost in the magic.

And just like before, supporting small businesses remains at the heart of what we do. We’re already busy sourcing beautiful, unusual and magical products from incredible independent makers around the world - including plenty of things you won’t find anywhere else!

Our new home will also feature a beautiful magical café, serving delicious cakes, sweet treats and enchanting drinks inspired by the Wizarding World. A cosy place to sit, relax and soak up the atmosphere after exploring everything our new shop has to offer.

There is still SO much we haven’t shown you yet…

✨A glimpse into the past…✨

This beautiful video was filmed over three years ago, and this weekend, The Lonely Broomstick turns FIVE! 🥹✨

What an incredible five years it has been. From the moment we first opened our doors, there has been no greater joy than watching the faces of children and adults alike light up as they step inside and experience a little bit of magic.

With renovations on our brand-new shop now well underway, this birthday feels especially bittersweet. It will be the last birthday we celebrate in the little shop where it all began.

But while one chapter is coming to an end, an even bigger and more magical one is just beginning…

We cannot wait to show you everything we’ve been working so hard to create. The next chapter of The Lonely Broomstick is going to be something truly special.✨

Thank you to every single person who has stepped through our doors, supported us, shared our journey and helped make the last five years possible.
