This week on the farm: hot, dry days, big blackberry picking efforts (over 10kg from around the farm!), admiring an abundance of wildlife at our bioblitz, and sharing good food, great company and lots of laughs at our feast. What a week! 💚

This week on the farm: perfect perfect sweetcorn, 91 cobs harvested on Monday! Cucumbers in their hundreds too, packed delivery cars, goldfinch gifts, volunteer BBQs, and harvesting kilos of blackberries in prep for our feast! We'll have some lovely produce from summer harvest on the shop stall today. Including bunched beets, a range of herbs, kale and fresh salad. We are so grateful for our wonderful community of local growers. These offerings have given the Loveland leaves the much needed time they need to catch up with demand and recover from the incessant sunshine!

As always, our shop will be open 4 - 7pm today. See you all soon 🧡

One week warning! 🥳

There's a week until our next feast and tickets are limited so don't hang around! Book yours today using the link in our bio!

The music is booked, the menu is sorted and our volunteers have been getting the site ready to welcome you all. Our last feast was a sell out, with lots of people on the waiting list, so nab a ticket before it's too late ⌛

It's looking like another hot day but there will be plenty of shade under our marquee and refreshing drinks to keep you cool 😎

We've got a jam packed weekend for you next week! Along with our Loveland feast on Sunday 16th (tickets in bio!), we're hosting our 6th annual Bioblitz on Friday and Saturday 🪲🐛🐞🦋

Join us for 24hrs celebrating all the wildlife that calls Loveland home! We've already seen a 21% increase in the number of species since we started managing the field, let's see if we can do even better this year 📈

There will be bird walks and setting up moth traps at 8pm on Friday, then an early start to identify and release them on Saturday. During the day on Saturday we will have plant walks, pond dipping, bug spotting and more! There will be refreshments available, activities for all ages, and a bring and share lunch is encouraged.

This event is completely free, though donations are greatly appreciated ☺️

Looking for local produce?

Our network of growers are deep in the midst of peak harvest season. An often stressful, difficult time for them , but for us as consumers, it means our plates can be filled with the most delicious array of produce !

This week we've got the full range of vegetables from in St Agnes, near Gweek and our own Market Garden - Loveland, in Penryn. Tis the season for tomatoes, cucumbers, aubergines, new potatoes & salads. From further afield are connecting us to the European stone fruit season fulfilling all your organic peach and nectarine needs!

Not to mention the kitchen staples - Tins, grains, pulses, bread, eggs, dairy & more.

Order from us by Thursday 11pm to come collect (or get delivery) Monday 4-7pm.

🍅Our second Summer Feast!!🍅

Tickets for our second feast are flying, so make sure you get yours soon! Join us on Sunday 16th August for a celebration of Lammas.

We'll be marvelling at (and tucking into) the abundance at this time of year. The field is literally bursting with produce, and chef Henry will be making the most of the summer delights to rustle up a seasonal 2-course meal, all washed down with a homemade botanical mocktail! 🍝🍹

We did it!!! 🥳

Thanks to your generosity we raised a whopping £27,344! We’ve been truly blown away by the support and it’s been heartening to see our community coming together to secure Loveland’s future 🫂

You’ll be pleased to hear we’re going to stop banging on about it now, but will be squirreling away in the background making these dreams a reality!
