If computer upgrades and new PCs seem more expensive lately, you’re not imagining it.

Global demand for memory chips especially from AI data centres, is driving up RAM prices, particularly DDR5 used in most modern computers. That means:
✔️ More expensive laptops & desktops
✔️ Higher upgrade costs
✔️ Pricier SSDs and gaming PCs too

💡 Quick Tip:
Don’t assume a slow PC always needs more RAM. We often find the real issue is storage, overheating, or software problems which can be cheaper to fix.
If you’re buying a new laptop, try not to under-spec the RAM, especially on models that can’t be upgraded later.
