Another knitted I-cord in hand speckled merino wool. Perfect for unique wire art or use it for super chunky projects! This one uses 4-ply which is stretchier and a little bit finer than the one I posted a few days ago.

This is a bit of a pity post. I closed my jewellery shop on Etsy today. It’s not made more than 1 sale a month this year...

This is a bit of a pity post.
I closed my jewellery shop on Etsy today. It’s not made more than 1 sale a month this year (1st picture).
Then I refunded my only open order on Etsy at Twinkly Knits.
It was a striped skein to the USA. Tarriffs are changing on Friday and are now going to be 10% plus whatever percentage the USA has decided to slap on that particular item. Looks like my yarn is 6%. So that’s 16% on top of the yarn price, plus the tracked postage, plus the RM handling fee. On an £18 order, the buyer paid over £38 and I was set to see only £10.18 of that 😬 which doesn’t cover the cost of dyeing that skein.
Yarn sales on Etsy have nosedived too (2nd pic).
It’s all looking a bit grim at Twinkly HQ…

Wear a little piece of summer with this hand sewn rainbow crystal bracelet.
It uses 4mm Austrian crystals sewn together with high strength fishing line and is finished with a sterling silver clasp. It can be made to measure and although it looks delicate, it will withstand constant wear as I hope a few of you will back up!
If rainbows are not your thing I also make it in a variety of ombre shades.
