Jewellery with JessicaMarie Beginners - Intermediate Silver Jewellery classes & courses at The Makers’ House & across Hampshire! Allow me to introduce myself.. Jessica Marie x

I am Jessica and I run jewellery classes in Hampshire. Originally I had no intension of teaching. When I set up my jewellery business under the name Frivolities back in 2016, I was happily tinkering away, making and selling jewellery. When I moved to Winchester and joined an artist collective at The Colour Factory Studios, they encouraged me to start teaching Beginners Classes and it turned out I absolutely love it! There is something quite special about meeting new students, watching their excitement as they solder for the first time or how impressed they are with their own skills and achievements when they leave wearing their own piece of sparkling jewellery! It’s become a real passion of mine. Over the years, as well as creating Made To Order collections and one off commission pieces, I am very proud to have welcomed hundreds of students into my classes and share the Silversmithing bug with them. Many come back again to build on their skills and some have even gone on to set up their own incredible jewellery businesses. Since having my daughter in 2021, teaching is very much my focus when it comes to work. I hope to get back to the workshop and begin making jewellery again in the coming year, but in the mean time I am very happy to be finding new venues in Hampshire and teaching you lovely lot! So if you’d like to try your hand at Silversmithing, please take a look at the classes I am running in Fareham, Winchester and Portsmouth - Or let me bring my tools to you at home and teach you how to make jewellery around your kitchen table with friends. Have you booked your space for this years Craft Under Canvas?

With all the excitement that’s been going on we are a little later than expected with updates on our biggest annual event, Craft under Canvas 2026!!! Two days packed with bell tents, crafting in nature, peace, calm, coffee, cake and just generally packed full of wholesome goodness!

The workshop programme will be released next week, with those who have already booked their spots getting VIP access to choose their classes before general sale - with only 6 people per session they will fill quickly! Because we are so late I have extended the early bird to this Wednesday, after which time the prices will be going up and spaces will be limited!! You have be warned and trust me, you will not want to miss out!!
