Tried a new design & made the shorter version of the Teloujay bag from Country Cow Designs. It makes use of a feature fabric for the top section & I've used some lovely herringbone tweed wool left over from making a coat. It contrasts well with the blue & grey denim I've chosen for the main bag. The lining is from a remnant. 😍🤩🦙

I can finally reveal, drum roll please - the Lavender Llama! 😍🤩🦙Filled with rice & lavender & can be heated in the microwave for a warm cuddle & perfectly sized for tummy, chest or across your neck. Still a few tweaks to be made & I'll add a blanket to the next one but I'm happy with the size of this one. I filled the smaller one with toy stuffing & trimmed the ears a bit.

Well, that didn't work out quite as I expected!😂 At least it was a trial run. I forgot the pattern I used didn't include a seam allowance which is why the ears look oversized. It's also smaller than I expected. The pattern is in American letter format so is smaller when I print to fit rather than actual size. I will stuff it for my granddaughter, still not saying what it will be when I try again! 😍🥰
