Alan Hudson Had an invite to a private invite only lake in Coventry for the Assassin tackle social and well it was a social of two halves after drawing 4th out of 5 I opted for a swim with fish present, however they quickly vanished with pressure around the lake. After trying multiple tactics I was struggling to get a bite, one thing for it a lunchtime b**r sit and chill and review the situation! with that reeled in and walked down the other end of the lake with no angling pressure and sure enough spotted a nice mirror in the murky margin that was enough for me to decide to move in the scorching heat! After gerting the rods out onto likely areas within an hr I was away with a scaley mirror👌 coming in at just over 18lb i was over the moon the move had paid off! falling to the Max attract baits stinky pink pro fish pop up over a bed of matching freebies, within an hr my middle rod was away with another mirror 18.4lb caught on a pastel pink pinacolada pop up fished over a bed of matching freebies, during the night managed my 1st cat at 14lb caught off my left spot now my 2nd fish from this spot again the stinky pink, redone the rods in the morning and was rewarded with a 27.9lb mirror again on the stinky pink, decided to put the rod back out whilst having a slow pack down and managed another quick bite with a 19.10lb common again on the stinky pink pro fish👌 All fish nailed on an Assassin tackle size 4 curve and various rig components and also used the fluro leaders for this venue and very impressed with them👌

Tylers found his stride and a new PB.

Tyler had 13 carp including a new PB with the lakes biggest resident at 31lbs 6oz. Caught on the surface using a size 6 AT wide gape and a krill pop up to match my floaters.

What an amazing days fishing well done mate 🎣🐟🎣🐟
