Since opening in Farsley Village in 2012, The Victoria Walker Boutique has grown to encompass a wide selection of bespoke jewellery, wedding accessories, and handmade gifts. In addition to custom silver jewellery, the Boutique also offers memorial pieces that incorporate ashes of a loved one into the design. Families can visit the Boutique to collaborate with Victoria and design a meaningful item that can be cherished for years to come. Moreover, Victoria is also skilled at remodeling existing jewellery and bringing sentimental pieces of jewellery back to life. The Boutique has become a favourite destination for individuals searching for an exclusive gift. Victoria debuted her line of handpoured soy wax scented candles in 2019, and also offers a beautiful array of handmade cards and trinkets for all occasions. Additionally, shoppers can also have wedding rings, watches and other jewellery engraved and repaired in store while you wait!

Every now and then, a customer comes along and gives you the kind of creative freedom every jeweller dreams of.

My customer brought me three rings — including her old engagement ring — and told me she’d been following my work for a while and wanted me to design something for her.

She gave me completely free rein with the design. No Pinterest board, no set brief… just complete trust in me to take her jewellery and create something new that she could wear every day.

From her old engagement ring, I carefully removed three diamonds — one to become part of the remodelled ring, and two to feature in her new engagement ring.

I then took the other two rings and reworked them into something completely new, incorporating that third diamond into the design.

I took my time with this one. And I’m so glad I did.

The result is two completely new rings, both carrying pieces of the jewellery she already owned, but with an entirely new meaning.

And this is exactly why I love remodelling jewellery.

We’re not just making something new. We’re taking pieces that already have a history, memories and meaning… and giving them a whole new chapter.

Happy wedding anniversary Mum & Dad 🖤✨

Today would have been their Golden Wedding Anniversary…

Mum gave me Dad’s wedding ring a while ago, and we’d talked for a long time about me making something from it. She just wasn’t ready for me to do anything with it for quite a while- and deep down I don’t think I was either. Then, a few weeks ago, the stars aligned and Mum was ready… so I got to work.

She wanted to keep the original ring intact, so I carefully cut it into two and made this pendant from one half, putting it onto Dad’s chain for her to wear and keep close. The other half has been kept as a special keepsake for another family member.

It’s probably one of the hardest pieces I’ve ever made, but without doubt one of the most special.

A little piece of Dad, for Mum to carry with her always. Especially on a day like today 🖤

Some pieces just hit differently… ✨

This memorial set was definitely one of those.

A beautiful matching necklace and earrings, handmade with solid gold, sterling silver, precious ashes and the most gorgeous sparkling octagon stones. 🤍

There was a little bit of a wait for this one- but my lovely customer was incredibly patient and understanding while I was happy with the design and the perfect set of stones.

And honestly… it was SO worth the wait. ✨

Once the perfect set of stones arrived, everything just came together exactly as I’d imagined. The sparkle of the octagon stones against all that solid gold, with those gorgeous organic gold little clusters surrounding them, made this set feel really special.

And hidden within each piece are the ashes of someone incredibly loved — making it not just beautiful jewellery, but something deeply personal that can be carried close every single day. 🤍

I was genuinely a little bit sad to see this one leave the workshop!

There are some pieces that you finish and immediately think “ohhh, I really love this one.” And this was absolutely one of them.

But knowing how much it means to its new owner makes handing it over that little bit easier. 🤍

Patience really did pay off with this one. ✨

Well… apparently I missed the memo that it’s September.

I had a whole post ready last week to tell you that I was FULL for Christmas orders… in August and then promptly got too embarrassed to actually post it because, quite frankly, it felt a little bit “look at meeeee”

Imposter syndrome is a wonderful thing, isn’t it?!

But actually… I’m ridiculously proud to say that my Christmas order book is now full and any new orders placed from this point onwards will be going into my January schedule, with February already starting to fill too. ✨

Which is bloody amazing. And also slightly terrifying. 😂

BUT — and this is important…

I still NEED you to come and see me! 🖤

We can spend some time together, talk through your ideas, play around with designs and gemstones, and get everything planned ready for when I have space to make it in the new year.

I’ve been so ridiculously busy lately that I’ve realised I’ve made SO many beautiful things and shared absolutely none of them 🤦🏼‍♀️😂

So… here’s one of them.

This absolute little beauty has just been finished and I’m a bit obsessed 😍✨
A gorgeous organic cluster memorial design with this stunning central stone and all those beautiful little diamonds nestled around it. Completely individual, beautifully imperfect and exactly the kind of jewellery I love making out of sentimental rings.

I really need to start showing you what I’ve been up to because honestly, there are some gorgeous pieces that have left the workshop recently.

The shop is absolutely manic at the minute — I’m now fully booked until December and I expect Christmas order books will be closing within the next two weeks… which feels completely INSANE considering it’s still August 🤯🎄

So if you’ve been wondering where I’ve disappeared to… I promise I’m still here. Just buried under jewellery, diamonds, appointments and orders 😂

But I’m going to make a real effort to start sharing more of the beautiful things I’ve been busy creating ❤️

Which probably means it might finally be time to admit defeat and get myself a social media person 🙋🏼‍♀️😂 And maybe even a part-time member of staff to help in the shop too, so I can concentrate on what I actually need to be doing… making all the beautiful things!

What. A. Week. 🤯🖤

I honestly don’t think I’ve ever experienced a week like it.

There were moments this week when every inch of the shop was full, with people patiently queued inside waiting to see me… and I genuinely had to pinch myself. 🖤

But do you know what made me smile the most?

Every single person was so incredibly patient and respectful. So many of the conversations I have are deeply personal, and nobody minded waiting while I gave each client the time they deserved. That kindness meant more than you know.

I’m now taking orders for November, and my bespoke order book is completely full until then.

…November!! 🤯

That feels absolutely bonkers to write.

Every piece I make carries someone’s story, and the fact that so many of you trust me with those stories is something I’ll never, ever take for granted.

Thank you for supporting this little independent business. Thank you for your patience, your recommendations, your kind words, and for helping make Victoria-Walker everything I’d dreamed it could be.

Now, if you’ll excuse me… it’s 7pm, I’m already in my pyjamas after what must have been a 60-hour week, I’ve got a pizza in one hand, and absolutely no intention of moving for the rest of the evening. 🍕🫠😂

I’m completely overwhelmed… in the very best way.

Wedding day memorial earrings for a very special customer 🤍

Today, this lovely lady marries the love of her life, and thanks to her mum, she’ll also have her dad by her side. These bespoke memorial earrings hold a small amount of his ashes, so he’s there with her for every step, every smile and every precious moment.

Wishing Sally & Andrew the most wonderful wedding day and a lifetime of happiness together. Thank you for trusting me with something so incredibly meaningful. 🤍

Jane’s stack ✨

Jane brought me a collection of her gold and diamond jewellery ready for a complete rethink.

Using the gold and diamonds from her original pieces, I created five completely new stacking rings — each one different, but designed to sit together, mix up and be worn in endless combinations.

From an idea… to the workbench… to the person behind it all. ✨

Every piece I create starts with a story.

Sometimes it’s a celebration. Sometimes it’s a memory. Sometimes it’s a loved one that someone wants to keep close forever.

The ring you see here didn’t come off a shelf. It was imagined, designed, shaped, soldered, polished and finished by hand, right here in my workshop.
