Elvis & Kresse was founded in 2005 with a mission to solve a global waste problem. Through years of hard work and research we've developed ways to create stunning lifestyle accessories from the most unlikely of raw materials. Discover our newest range handmade from decommissioned British fire-hose, high quality reclaimed leather, and silk.

50% of all our profits go back to the Fire Fighters Charity and Barefoot College. Elvis & Kresse believe the future of luxury is sustainable, ethical, reclaimed, open, generous and kind. We have started picking! Although not all of our varieties are ripe, 3 of them were ready to pick on Wednesday. The Cabaret Noir, Rinot and Ravel Blanc were successfully picked, in some cases de-stemmed, and all stomped by Elvis.

We may have been ahead of our time, we may have been radical, but after 20 years it is odd that we are still referred to that way. It is time to catch up!

A regenerative future is possible, we all just have to decide, and roll up our sleeves.

Whether as a business or as individuals, the goals we set for ourselves can and should get more ambitious.

For us, that meant redesigning the business to operate regeneratively. This means we either have achieved or are on the path:

To clean more water than we use.
To generate more renewable energy than we consume.
To sequester more carbon than we emit.

And that’s why we’re here, on the farm.

Every single piece we make is a one-of-a-kind.

It is primarily due to our cherished raw materials. They are rescued. They have lived a life before coming to us. Fire-hoses change with age, they darken, they weather, they get lovely scars as they go about their business saving lives. The hoses are also stamped with their brand, Angus Duraline, their type, their British Standard mark and their date of extrusion. When we clean the hose and cut it into patterns to stitch into our final pieces these marks all fall in different places.

It’s true that two pieces can be made from the same pattern and may appear similar, but each Elvis & Kresse fire-hose piece is unique and will never be exactly the same.
