Just about to do a jolly good rant about the upcoming heatwave.. maybe this is the new norm, this is my back garden which looking good this year.. I get all my plants from Home Bargains and the distressed trolleys at Aldi (!)

Open Gardens this sunday.. i will be at the market and Sam will be running the shop.

Something I noticed last heatwave is certain plants stop taking up water and shut down.

Leave water out for wildlife.

I am open as normal. Keep cool.

Open all weekend for local plants grown by local people! Fully stocked with compost, tools and gardening sundries. Free parking. Lots of advice.

Seeds are sprouting, potting up saved stock from last year.. the weather may be p**p but nature rumbles on!

Open all weekend for seeds, tools, logs, compost etc.

A lot of my bare root stock is potted up as it was sprouting, if you want cheaper fruit trees this your last weekend.

Lovely to be out in sun today. Planting a small mixed orchard . Saying that, weather warning of r**n just pinged on the phone.. wednesday to thursday.

LAST MINUTE GIFT ALERT! I have seasonal gifts available right up to Christmas eve. Restocked with logs, firelighters and kindling.

I even have a couple of small bareroot Christmas trees available.

Thankyou to all who have visited me over the past year.. your support has enabled me to purchase a small bag of sprouts for my christmas dinner..

I am closing from 4 oclock christmas eve until 6th Jan. Compost and bare root trees in that first week!

A great range of gifts and decorations still available. I have done a few wreathes and have a few Christmas trees left. Tree stands available.

Starting to get soft fruit and fruit trees in, such a great gift. Vouchers are available if you cant decide.

More locally sourced Nordman trees in wednesday afternoon!

I had my busiest ever day on Saturday, this meant I had very few Christmas trees available on sunday.. apologies if you visited and left empty handed.

I have around 25 trees coming in that have been cut by our local grower.

If you need ethically sourced decorations and gifts for young and old please pop up.

My back is slowly recovering.. shock news! Starting to feel the Christmas spirit.
