🎉 10 years of Sunnydene Tutoring! 🎉

Today marks 10 years since Sunnydene Tutoring began - and what a journey it's been!

What started at my dining room table has grown into a dedicated tuition centre, with an amazing team of tutors supporting children and young people across Faversham and beyond. So much has changed over the last ten years, but what matters most to me hasn’t changed at all.

My aim has always been to:
📚 Support students in their learning and help them build firm foundations;
💡 Develop their confidence and understanding, rather than simply teach them how to get the right answer;
🤝 Build strong relationships so students feel comfortable making mistakes;
😊 And, above all, make learning enjoyable.

I’m incredibly proud of how Sunnydene has grown, but I'm even more proud of the many pupils we’ve supported along the way - watching their confidence develop, seeing those lightbulb moments and celebrating their successes.

A huge thank you to all the families who have trusted Sunnydene over the past 10 years, and to every tutor who has been part of the journey. ❤

Children learn best when they feel supported by familiar and friendly faces. Building trust with tutors helps them feel more comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. This is where real learning happens.

Session spaces are limited now for support for primary-aged pupils, but there a few slots remaining - get in touch to find out more and to check our remaining availability.

With the 2026 Kent Test done and dusted, I'm now taking a break - until Monday 28th September, when Kent Test group sessions at Sunnydene Tutoring (for the new Year 5s) will begin.

We cover arithmetic, reasoning and problem-solving in a calm and supportive way. Each area is introduced gradually so children don’t feel rushed. This helps them build a well-rounded understanding of maths.
