Ooo I've been busy trying to remember how to put a tent up (haven't done it since 2004 or so) There was a lot unladylike language during the er****on and had to borrow tent pegs from my gazebo but.... Ta da.
Why you ask... Well my sis and B.I.L are visiting to undertake laminate flooring in both bedrooms. In order to speed things up I've vacated the 1 room to empty it fully. Will need to bathe in insect repellent for the duration as those pesky mozzies love me.... I'm like catnip to them 🤣

Apologies for the slightly maudlin post.
This moon is a labour of love. On this I will hang some of the ashes of my beloved Mum, Jones, Tippy and Tilly. I have been morbidly hanging on to these but I feel ready now to release them and this ornament is a memorial. I think Mum would have loved being in the company of the sweetest cats I have known.
The rest I will scatter in the garden as I find it a comfort to have them near and all together.

View from a bike👀 please forgive my dodgy filming and riding this girl needs a go pro for these shenanigans.

Anyhoo I have lived here for a year and a half and only just found out there's a cycle route of 3ish miles from the base of Maerdy mountain to Tylorstown through some of the most stunning scenery and so many wooded areas my foraging mind wants to explore. What's crazy is the entrance to this beautiful ride is 2 minutes from my front door and I never knew. Now I can ride my bike without fear of being sideswiped by over optimistic driver's on the narrow roads💜

Good morning everyone

Hope you are all thriving🤗 I harvested my Chamomile plant to make fresh Chamomile tea. It is so much nicer than the dried stuff. For aesthetic purposes I put it in a fancy cup but If I harvest then steep the darn stuff for ages I'm gonna need a bigger reward.. Hence the transfer to my favourite mug lol
Ps the calming properties are I'm going to estimate thrice the amount of store bought so if you have a plant give it a go. Also the bees love it... I had to ask them nicely to be able to harvest some for my tea. It's pretty prolific though so we could share 🐝 🐝
