And it’s back! The bubble skirt. The Sophia woven bubble skirt and pants pattern by Style Arc. I made mine in a size 16 but if I made again I might go down a size. I also took 5 inches!! Of the length. I used the yellow check £9 a metre from my website. And the lining is yellow cotton from the solid colour range pattern and cottons on my website. I was worried the skirt would suit my short wideness… but I like. And I do like my stripe and check class. Yellow and orange. My favourite colours

So I nearly gave up on my favourite jeans… but I got creative with patches and fabric and stuck and sewed. Just like me, there is life in the old dog yet as they say! I made the top a while ago.. a merchant and mills trapèze dress hacked into a top with puff sleeves. I loved this print so much. An old and all gone kaffe fasset. Do I look like I’m wearing a nappy? Oh well! I still love them! Make do and mend , favourite jeans , patches

Three fabrics and a dress pattern…
Yes I really really like the fibre Mood Judy dress! One in Indian bloke print , one in French cotton lawn, and one in kaffe Fasset cotton sheeting. Which one is your favourite…. The fish! Ha ha! Dress up dress down. I think I might have to do another…. I got my pattern from but please get the fabric from me !! Oh and best of all it’s an easy make!
