A little 60s dress that feels apropos this week as the print features houses in a charming landcape and I'm in the process of buying a home in a charming landscape.

So even though I wouldn't be able to get this dress on past my knees I'm considering it my dream house dress. This one found me in Ramsgate but originated in Wingham and I've had a daydream or two imagining what it was like to shop at The Chatelaine when this dress was in the window display. These days she's in my etsy shop but hopefully she'll be warming your wardrobe very soon.

The one on the left has gone to greener meadows but the one on the right is frolicking on my ebay.

Is it just me (and my age) or does the beginning of summer always feel like the middle of the 1980s?
And does the middle of the 80s always involve crayon scribble prints?
Supporting this argument with an ultimate 1980s scribble print summer dress. Also note its triangular cut and back seam buttons. Made in Italy so absolutely Memphis inspired.
