Yesterday I took part in the final of the carpet fitter of the year competition huge welldone to James Jfw Wilkinson on winning the competition 🏆 well deserved!

And what a great experience it has been, its really not easy putting yourself and your work infront of the very best in the trade to be judged l. but I am very proud of being amongst the top fitters in the country

Thankyou to the National institute of carpet and floorlayers , FITA Training Centre, Harrogate flooring show.

Also thanks to Stairrods UK Ltd for taking me for some food and drinks after

Its been awesome to catch up with people and meet new friends while I was there 😁

A lovely set-width stair runner we recently fitted for a prestigious designer store in London.

This stunning Wilton-style carpet had to be fitted the traditional old-school way, where the inside corners don’t line up perfectly to allow the runner to twist naturally around the stairs. It’s a skilled installation method that takes patience, precision, and experience—but the end result is well worth it. 😁
