Such a great post from another local Business.

I’ve had a few conversations recently that have genuinely worried me… ❤️
Over the last few weeks I’ve spoken to several local business owners across completely different trades - retail, hospitality, beauty, services and yes, even businesses in the same niche as Lusso.
And despite doing completely different things, we all seem to be saying the same thing…
It’s really tough out there just now.
Footfall is quieter. Costs keep rising. People are understandably watching what they spend.
And I think sometimes we forget that behind every independent business is a real person.
Someone worrying about wages.
Someone wondering whether tomorrow will be busier.
Someone still turning the key, putting the lights on and greeting customers with a smile - even when they’re quietly wondering what the future holds.
Lusso will be 9 years old soon. 🥹❤️
And I’m incredibly proud of that.
But this isn’t a “please shop at Lusso” post.
Because I want the café down the road to survive.
I want our hairdressers, beauticians, restaurants, tradespeople, gift shops and independent retailers to survive.
And yes… I want the other boutiques to survive too. ❤️
We might technically be competitors, but there is room for all of us.
A town full of thriving independent businesses gives people a reason to come into town in the first place.
So I want to ask you something…

Something that takes you 10 seconds can help a small business reach hundreds - sometimes thousands - of people.
After almost 9 years, I want to see Lusso reach birthday number 10… and many more after that.
But I want to see our fellow independents standing beside us too.
Because imagine our towns without the little businesses that give them their personality.
That’s not a high street I want to see. ❤️
