Forfar in Flower

Haven't said hello in a while but work continues in the background. Watering baskets and planters, tidying borders and cutting the grass at the West Port. We were out at the entrance to the Country Park on Monday morning. There are lots of apples but not quite ready. Do pick some when the time comes.
We are re-doing some of the baskets that have 'gone over'. This hot and dry weather has speeded up their process.
The weather has also meant we haven't had such a good display of sunflowers this year at the Zoar, however there is still interest in the Teasel and Phlomus. Hope you are all having a good summer.

We took part in the Flower Festival at St Margaret's Lunanhead on Saturday. Thank you to Murton for building the mini tattie box.

We received a donation of £110 last week from Inner Wheel of Forfar. This is happily accepted by Lesley and will help to fund the cost of our new hanging baskets. Thank you so very much.

We were out this morning around town, touring our "It's Your Neighbourhood" representative. It's our annual visit to show off our wee town and what we do. I'm sure we will do well as always. The Zoar is looking fabulous and the sunflowers are well on their way to providing their usual sunny display.

The planters are looking good. Sadly one of the ones at The Cross was vandalised again.
