This was such a beautiful & fitting tribute 🎣
When the family were ordering all their tributes and thought about maybe a fish because of his passion for fly fishing we thought why not incorporate flowers with his own fly rod that way it’s more meaningful and about the person and it would be displayed at the funeral.
Then we took it up a notch when Jamie came up with the idea to display the fly rod on the front of the hearse and I must say it was quite emotional when the hearse made its way past our shop on this gentleman’s final journey with his prised possession leading the way ❤️🤍💙🎣
Sending all our love to this incredible family and I will post the rest of the pictures soon

Every life tells a story, and every farewell should reflect that story.
Yesterday, we had the privilege of saying goodbye to a much-loved gentleman whose greatest passion was fly fishing.
As one final tribute, his own fly rod was carefully adorned with flowers and placed on the hearse using specialist rod holders, allowing it to accompany him on his final journey. It was a simple but deeply personal way to honour the passion that brought him so much joy throughout his life.
At Manson & MacBeath Funeral Directors, we believe that no two lives are the same, and no two farewells should be either. Whether it’s a favourite pastime, a treasured possession, or a special tradition, we will always do everything we can to help families create a funeral that truly reflects the person they love.
It was an honour to help pay tribute to a true gentleman.
Every life is unique. Every farewell should be too 💙 🎣
