Well we kicked off the festive season in style! 🎁🎄🥂

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped create such a joy filled weekend of gift shopping, entertainment and the raising of glasses to bring us into the Christmas spirit ✨

Such a wonderful atmosphere you all helped create 🙏

A special mention for our sponsors Samphire Fowey, the team at Official Made in Cornwall and LESW, Fowey River Lions Club and Dowrick Electrical who installed the lights through to the town, the Fowey Town-Band for the parade, Fowey Town Council for their support, and the residents of fowey who put up with all the cars parked on their streets 🎅🏼👍🏽

And we cannot thank the local businesses enough who got behind the event, without your support the event wouldn’t have taken place 🍻

Our performances from Rock Choir Cornwall, Acappella Sound, Andy "The Crooner" Marshall , Georgia d'Arcy Singer, The Velvets, Jacob Reed music, Matthew Keen, Samba Kernow and Hotch Potch Performance helped light up the town!

To everyone involved we really appreciate your dedication to creating such a wonderful experience for us all 🎄

The weather will clear nicely for us tonight 🎅🏼👍🏽

Our opening night will bring you our annual Lights Switch On, Santa arriving by Tug Boat, Town Band Parade, Christmas Carols outside the church, Street Performers, and 100+ Artisan Stalls for some Christmas shopping 🎁🎄

🎪5.30pm - Andy "The Crooner" Marshall opens the Christmas Market
performing in the entertainer’s gazebo on Town Quay.

🧚‍♀️ Winter Fawn, Elf Stilt Walkers and Snow Queen Living Statue
throughout the town to add to the spectacle.

🎅 6.30pm - Santa Arrives by Tugboat
at Berrill’s Yard to lead the Fowey Town-Band parade through the town finishing outside the church yard.

🕯 7pm - Light Switch on Outside the Church
Santa and the Fowey Town Band parade will arrive at the church to countdown, hosted by Andy Marshall and songs by Rock Choir Cornwall.

🎶 7pm – 8pm Rock Choir Cornwall performing outside the Church as part of light switch on.
