🏌️‍♀️ Women who have never played golf before, this is for you! 💛

Have you ever thought about trying golf but worried that you would not know what to do, would not have the right equipment, or might feel out of place?

That is exactly why we created our love.golf Taster Sessions at Dunes Golf Centre.

They are relaxed, friendly and designed especially for women who are completely new to golf. You do not need to know the rules, own any clubs or be particularly sporty. We provide all the equipment and guide you through everything step by step.

You can come on your own or bring a friend. Everyone will be there to learn, have a laugh and enjoy trying something new together 😊

And once we have finished playing, there will be coffee and cake too ☕🍰

A few snaps from another of our love.golf scrambles 📸 This was the 21st scramble we have organised as we aim to grow female participation in golf in North East Scotland ⛳️ These scrambles are designed to be super informal and relaxed with no pressure to ‘play well’. The main focus is on the social side and to provide an opportunity to play, meet new golfers who are all just starting out and ultimately just have a mighty fine afternoon and evening out. The feedback I’ve had since last night suggest I’m doing it right ☺️ Thank you ladies, Pete x
Also, a huge thank you to our partner club - Fraserburgh Golf Club and the members for letting us use the course and for the excellent food and service in the clubhouse after 🙌

A huge congratulations to Riley Whyte on making an incredible hole in one on the 16th hole during the Inverallochy Golf Club Junior Open! 👏🎯 Riley was using a 4 iron and his playing partners were Alexander Wisley and Kameron Brown.

What an amazing achievement and a moment to remember. Everyone at Inverallochy Golf Club is delighted to celebrate this fantastic ace.

🏌️‍♀️ Ladies, join us for a fun golf day at Fraserburgh Golf Club! ⛳️💛

The 21st love.golf Scramble takes place next Saturday 1 August, and it is open to all women, whether you play regularly, have not played for years, or have never played before.

You do not need to be part of love.golf and you do not need any previous playing experience. You just need to fancy a relaxed afternoon and evening with a brilliant group of women 😊

This is not a serious golf competition with lots of rules. If that is what you are looking for, this probably is not the event for you! 😄

Instead, expect:

⛳ A relaxed 9-hole team Scramble
😂 Plenty of laughs and encouragement
🍽️ A lovely meal in the clubhouse
🎶 A quiz and music bingo
🤝 A friendly and welcoming atmosphere

The team format takes away the pressure and makes the day perfect for beginners. All golf equipment can also be provided at no extra charge.
