For a long time now we have been endeavouring to live our live as a blend of ‘The Good Life’(1975 BBC), ‘Little house on the prairie’, and Blue Peter.
�Our days change with the seasons, growing veg, fishing, rearing chickens, making c***r and vinegar. This is all interspersed with home-schooling, bicycling, pottery, music, sand art, singing, painting, repairing and recycling, and making bikes.�
After 15 years of squeezing as much veg growing space around our humble hovel in Freshwater East, we finally bit the bullet and bought some land on the edge of the village and are now working the land on a larger scale.

Egg laying is back in full production again, beautiful blue, green, brown and white eggs from our much loved and cosseted organically fed hens.

The chickens are in overdrive at the moment, for this productive time of year we are dropping the price down to £2 a box for these organically laid beauties.

Help ! where about have you seen any ladybirds this week ? We don't use pesticides on our veg, so I need a few of these ravenous warriors in my garden to slow down the green fly.
