October is here 🍂🎃

Cosy evenings, autumn colours, pumpkins, Halloween creations and approximately 400 ideas I definitely don't have enough hours to make 😂

There's lots happening behind the scenes at Little Brook this month across Celebrations, Workshop and Bookshelf, and I can't wait to share some of it with you.

Here's to a lovely October 🤎

One last flutter for the week 🦋✨

This beautiful one was made for another first birthday, with pink, rose gold and iridescent butterflies catching ALL the light 💕

I think it’s safe to say the butterflies have earned their place as one of my most-loved designs lately 🥹

Another one from the recent butterfly invasion 🦋💕

This time it was for a little girl turning FIVE! ✨

Same butterfly design, completely different celebration, and another gorgeous mix of pink, lilac and rose gold.

I think these colours might officially be becoming a favourite around here 🥰

The butterflies have definitely been taking over lately 🦋✨

Starting with this pretty pink, lilac and rose gold topper made for this little girls very first birthday 💕

I absolutely love seeing all the different colour combinations you choose for these, and judging by how many butterfly toppers I’ve been making lately, you do too! 😂🦋

💗 And of course, we couldn't have a Big Brother without a Little Sister...

My daughters version had to be purple, obviously. 😂💕

Made for her bedroom door, with little engraved hearts and layered lettering, this was the other half of the idea that started at home and somehow found its way into Little Brook Keepsakes. 🥹

These sibling door signs can be made as Big Brother, Little Brother, Big Sister or Little Sister, with colours changed to suit their room or their favourites. ✨

A little something that's theirs, right on their bedroom door. 💗

💕 Sometimes the best ideas aren't made for the shop. They're made for home first.

I think that's becoming a bit of a theme around here. 😂

So many of the things I end up adding to Little Brook start because I've had an idea for something I want to make for my own home or my own little ones.

I make it because we want it. Then I finish it, fall a little bit in love with it and think... okay, maybe somebody else would love this too. 🥹

And honestly, I think that's one of my favourite things about having a small business. 💗

Making things for the people I love first... and then getting to make them for yours too. ✨

💙 Made for home first...

This one started with something I wanted to make for my own little boy. 🥹

A little Big Brother sign for his bedroom door, made especially for him and painted in colours to match his room.

And somewhere between designing it, cutting it and finally putting it on his door, I thought... actually, this is far too cute not to offer to other families too. 😂💙

So these sibling door signs are officially joining Little Brook Keepsakes, available as Big Brother, Little Brother, Big Sister or Little Sister, with different colours available to make them your own. ✨

Sometimes my favourite products really do start right here at home. 💕

🥹🎒 And just like that... my baby started big school!

Of course I had to make Emily her very own First Day board for the occasion 💕

These little backpack boards have definitely been keeping the laser busy behind the scenes lately, and I absolutely love how hers turned out... complete with her little purple blob tucked into the pocket 🥹💜

And just because your back-to-school date may have passed, doesn't mean the photo opportunity has! 📸✨

There's still plenty of time to order.

Take the picture when it feels right for your family, not just because of a date. 💖
