Today marks the final day.

20 years of Teddy's Sweet shop/Teddy's Place comes to an end.

We will be having a month off, but we will be available every Friday Morning at the Memorial Hall, where you can buy Wool and other associated haberdashery, as well as other interesting nick naks.

Wool orders can be placed and local delivery is an option at a small fee.

In the near future we will be facilitating other purchasing methods for Wool etc, but that will be announced at a later date.

Again we would like to thank everyone who has supported us through the years. We can't thank you enough.

Teddy's will be back......just different :)

Teddy's Place in it's current guise will no longer be. After 20 years we are closing the shop with immediate affect and after a brief rest, we will be selling our wool online and attending the Memorial Hall on Friday mornings.
We are currently in the process of shutting the shop and emptying out, we are giving a great deal of stuff away for free or a donation to charity.

Wool is being sold at its normal price as this part of the business will continue after a break. We ask that you do not negotiate/barter/haggle on Wool prices, we are already cheap enough as it is.

Teddy would like to thank those patrons and friends in the community that supported us as a local business for many years, those from across the island, and of course our regular mainland visitors.

So this isn't goodbye, it's merely a see you later as we will be back to work after a break.

We don't post much on here as generally Teddy is too busy, however......... I must say if you wish to visit our shop purely to inflict your views, be it political, religious, COVID related or anything else.........YOU ARE NOT WELCOME!!!

Our shop, our rules....everyone has their views, we don't discuss ours unless asked, and if our opinion differs to yours......that's ok.

We do not discriminate at Teddy's....ALL ARE WELCOME!!!!! However we have the right to refuse service and eject anyone from our shop at anytime.

We are a local run business catering to many different people from different backgrounds, and we greet everyone warmly, but we do not tolerate abuse in any fashion.

Teddy has been working very hard redecorating the shop for Christmas.

Take away and door service is still available, along with our rest area for those that need it......and a warm welcome from Teddy(unless you're rude or ignorant, at which point you'll be shown the door).

Teddy's is beginning to get that Christmas Vibe.

Lemon, Cinnamon, Lime and various Spices - Scented bags, wreaths, swags and Christmas tree decorations.

Fresh Wreaths and table decorations too order etc etc.

It would appear that Teddy's Place has been reported for being open.

Only a Person or Person's would report us for being open, without knowing the services we provide:

1) Takeaway Tea, Coffee.
2) Takeaway wool and assorted habidashery.
3) Click and collect service.
4) A full stock of new toys for when lockdown 2 ends.
5) Numerous other individual essential services.

We also have a seating area for the elderly and infirm people to rest, before carrying on with their daily routine.

Presently Teddy's Place operates within a closed bubble or service at the door of the shop.

As ever Teddy's Inbox/Messenger is on for any legitimate queries, questions or concerns anyone may have, regarding anything.

Teddy's Place will remain a safe space, past the 5th of November, with no official opening and closing times. Teddy will be in cleaning and painting.

You will not be quizzed on your medical history, masks are not compulsory, however respect and tolerance is!!!

Feel free to come in for a socially distanced chat and hot drink.....or freshly made Ice Cream Milkshake.

Teddy's Place is still a safe space and always will be!!!!!! :)

If you wish to come and browse in our shop please wear a mask.
If you're coming to partake in an ice cream, milkshake, a hot drink......no mask is required.

The friendly staff will not.......and I repeat will not, quiz you on your medical history, if you choose to not wear a mask.

There will be hand sanitizer at the door for anyone that wishes to use it.

All are welcome at Teddy's place.........however a word of !!!!!!warning!!!!!!, if you wish to stand in the door way and berate other customers and staff on why they may choose not to wear a mask, YOU WILL BE POLITELY TOLD WHERE TO GO.
