Semi-permanent make-up is an established beauty procedure where micropigments are implanted in to the skin (tattooed) into the dermal layer of the skin. (Not as deep as regular tattoo's)
A colour of your choice is implanted into the skin and generally lasts between 18 months and 5 years. The proceedures I am currently trained to practice are:
Eyebrows; Brush stroke and Powdered brow. Eye liner;
Top and bottom liner (varying thickness available). and lash enhancement liner. Lips; Lip liner and lip blush (optional)
Rejuvi tattoo removal (non-laser method)
People who undertake micropigmentation can do so for many different reasons, ranging from those who simply want to look their best at all times, to those who require some form of corrective skin enhancement for medical reasons. Some people who might choose to have cosmetic micropigmentation are listed below:
•those with allergies to conventional make-up;
•those with no time to apply make-up daily;
•those with thin, pale or poorly defined lips;
•those who seek correction of asymmetrical (“lop-sided”) facial features;
•those with excessively oily skin which causes make-up to smear;
•those with physical difficulties which make the application of conventional make-up impossible. Many peoples first questions with regards to the procedures are- 'Is it painful?'...there is no definitive answer to this question really, as everybody's pain threshold is different. But generally speaking- most clients just find the procedure unfomfortable opposed to actually painful. Before the procedure takes place the area is first numbed with an anestetic cream before the skin is broken to reduce any uncomfort. Procedures generally take between 1 and half hours to 2 hours depending on the area being done and all my treatments come with a complimentary re-touch appointment after 6 weeks. If you have any questions - please do not hesitate to ask.
