Danu Handmade Steiner Dolls made in Frome, Somerset, England. I am the mother of three. I am a fine art graduate and seamstress.

I live in Frome a beautiful town in the heart of Somerset with my partner and our three children. I have a great passion for handcrafts, natural sustainable materials and teaching the skills I have learnt. It is my love of Children, handcraft skills and sustainability that is how Danu has been established. I have extensive experience working as a handcrafts professional, and working with children,

within childcare and the arts and crafts sector. I pride myself on my handcraft skills and find great passion in teaching these skills, to both adults and children alike. Having recently moved from London I have a vast amount of experience running a variety of workshops from adult sewing workshops to childrens handcraft sessions and Forest and rural arts group sessions for under 5's. I now run a Steiner inspired kindergarten from my home in the heart of Somerset, where I also make my Danu Steiner Dolls and run a range of Handcraft workshops for children and Doll Making Workshops for adults.

Welcome to my shop Danu. Selling my Danu Dolls amongst other handmade treasures.
Danu is one of our most ancient of mother goddesses, 'The Flowing One' through which the flow of creativity and inspiration runs through us like a river. She brings abundance and wisdom, she empowers us to create our own destiny, reminding us we are capable of realising our own dreams.
I feel incredibly drawn to The Goddess Danu and what could be more fitting than to name my beautiful handmade treasures after 'The Goddess of Fairy Folk and Creativity'?
I even named all three of my children after different characters from the stories of the Tuath De Danann, well before I heard of The Goddess Danu.
She must have been guiding me all a while.
