Choc et al opened a chocolate shop in July 2019 in the lovely quintessential town of Frome, Somerset. 20 Cheap street became our chocolate home until August 2022 when we expanded our Chocolate business to 16 Cheap Street. At this point we opened Choc et al with an our selection of handmade chocolates and slabs with the extra space allowing us the opportunity to establish a cafe alongside the Choc et al brand. We moved to 16 Cheap street, Frome because of its legacy and history within Frome for being a cafe and restaurant for over a 100 years. The Choc et al brand is coming to a happy end, as we move forward to a full scale cafe and eatery. The choc et al adventure has been a real journey within the world of chocolate and cacao, developing unique products like the square slabs with over 25 different flavours, amazing handmade flavoured bonbons, chocolate flavoured discs and enrobed marshmallows. These products have been enjoyed by many locals but we have exciting NEW plans for 16 Cheap street and that means we will no longer be using the CHOC ET AL brand or making chocolate anymore. This account will close but the CAFE and No.16 Cheap street will be re-branded and open for business as usual, from the 24th June 2025. We are refurbishing and decorating next week and will open with a new cafe design and a fuller savoury menu. Stayed tuned for one final post. 😉
