I’ve spent the last few months developing the brand identity for Card Co Events, a new UK-wide TCG exhibition show.
The first event launches this Sunday at Edinburgh Corn Exchange.
Leon was looking for a strong, recognisable core brand - Card Co Events - along with a set of sub-brands for each location. Edinburgh, Sheffield, Bristol and beyond each have their own distinct identities, while still feeling consistent and connected to the main overarching brand.
The brief was to create something bold, engaging, and welcoming to families, vendors and collectors but without blending in to the overused visuals already in this market. So no pixel art, gaming aesthetics, or comic strip styling. Instead, we focused on something clean, fresh, professional and modern.
As part of the visual identity, I’ve created:
• A full logo and sub-logo suite
• Social media templates
• Bespoke iconography
• Brand patterns
• Business cards
• Lanyards and ID passes
• Hoodie embroidery files
• Venue floor plan design
• Eventbrite banner assets
Everything is designed with intention, the brand's visuals will be consistent across all its digital and physical touchpoints, creating trust and credibility among supporters.
